MCSetups (prebuilt Minecraft setups)

MCSetups offers ready-made Minecraft setups you can install on your server. Open MCSetups in the left menu (under Utilities).

MCSetups is shown on Vanilla and on plugin servers such as Paper. It is hidden once your server runs a mod loader (for example after you install a modpack that uses Fabric).

What you will see

• Filters for Version and Category at the top.
• A list of setups. Each has a name, an author, a Details button, and an Install button.
• A Request a setup link if you cannot find what you want.

At the time of writing the list included a Skyblock setup, a Survival setup, and a Towny setup. The list changes over time.

Install a setup

1. Open MCSetups and pick a Version and Category.
2. Press Details on a setup to read about it.
3. Press Install.

Caution

A setup changes your server’s files and software. Make a backup first, and check the Minecraft version the setup was made for before you install.

After installing

Restart your server, then check Console for errors. If the server will not start, see My server won’t start.
