Panel login and account problems

This page covers logging in at panel.omnehosting.com and account access. See Panel login and Account security.

Why it happens: The most common causes are a wrong password, a typo in the email or username, or using the client area password on the panel.

How to fix it:

  1. Check you are on panel.omnehosting.com for the game panel.
  2. Retype the email or username and password. Turn off caps lock.
  3. Try a private window to rule out saved wrong details.
  4. If it still fails, use Forgot password (next item).

Why it happens: Passwords cannot be shown, only reset.

How to fix it:

  1. On the panel login page, click the Forgot password link.
  2. Enter your email and follow the link in the email.
  3. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive.
  4. The panel and the client area (omnehosting.com) are separate sites with separate passwords. Resetting one does not change the other.

My panel password and client area password are different

Section titled “My panel password and client area password are different”

Why it happens: They are separate logins, each with its own password. The panel account is created for your email when your server is set up, and the panel sends its own account setup email.

How to fix it:

  1. Use the panel password on panel.omnehosting.com and for SFTP.
  2. Use the client area password on omnehosting.com for services, invoices and tickets.
  3. Reset each one separately if needed.

I lost my phone or two-factor authentication app

Section titled “I lost my phone or two-factor authentication app”

Why it happens: Once two-factor authentication is on, the panel asks for a code from your app at every login. You cannot turn it off from inside the panel unless you can log in first.

How to fix it:

  1. Try one of your recovery codes. They were shown when you enabled 2FA.
  2. If you have none, open a ticket from the client area and explain what happened.
  3. Once you are back in, keep your recovery codes somewhere safe. See Account security.

The Access Panel button does not sign me in

Section titled “The Access Panel button does not sign me in”

Why it happens: The button in the client area tries to log you in automatically. It may fail when panel two-factor authentication is on.

How to fix it:

  1. Log in directly at panel.omnehosting.com with your panel email and password.
  2. Enter your 2FA code when asked.

I am logging in to the wrong account or email

Section titled “I am logging in to the wrong account or email”

Why it happens: You may have more than one account, or signed up with a different email.

How to fix it:

  1. Search your inbox for emails from OmneHosting to find the address you used.
  2. Try Forgot password with each email you might have used.
  3. If you cannot find it, open a ticket.

Why it happens: The email may be in spam, be mistyped, or be delayed. Adding a subuser gives that email access right away. There is no separate accept step in the panel.

How to fix it:

  1. Ask the person to check spam and junk folders.
  2. Check the email address on the Users page for typos. Remove the entry and add it again if it is wrong.
  3. If they already have a panel account, they should log in with that same email. If they are new, the panel emails them a Setup Your Account link to choose a password. If that email is lost, they can use Forgot password with that email.
  4. If nothing works, open a ticket.

Why it happens: They are probably logged into a different account than the email you added.

How to fix it:

  1. Have them log in with the exact email you added.
  2. Check the server appears on their Dashboard. If not, check the Users page to see if they are listed.
  3. Remove them and add them again if needed.

Why it happens: Subusers only see and change what their permissions allow.

How to fix it:

  1. Ask the server owner to open Users and edit your permissions.
  2. Pick the permission group you need, for example file, backup, schedule, or control.

I bought a server but cannot see it in the panel

Section titled “I bought a server but cannot see it in the panel”

Why it happens: Setup may still be running, or you are logged into a different panel account.

How to fix it:

  1. Check the service status in the client area.
  2. Log in to the panel with the same email as your order.
  3. See Order and setup problems.

Why it happens: Sessions can end because of cleared cookies, private browsing, or extensions blocking cookies.

How to fix it:

  1. Allow cookies for panel.omnehosting.com.
  2. Turn off extensions that clear cookies.
  3. Do not use two different devices or windows that log each other out at once.

Why it happens: You were idle for a long time or your login token ended.

How to fix it:

  1. Log in again.
  2. If it keeps happening within minutes, check your cookie settings.

The CAPTCHA does not load or keeps failing

Section titled “The CAPTCHA does not load or keeps failing”

Why it happens: Ad blockers, VPNs, privacy tools, or a slow connection can block the CAPTCHA.

How to fix it:

  1. Turn off extensions for the login page.
  2. Turn off your VPN and try again.
  3. Try another browser.

Why it happens: Repeated failed logins are usually slowed down to protect your account.

How to fix it:

  1. Wait a few minutes and try again.
  2. Use Forgot password to reset if you are not sure of the password.
  3. If it still blocks you, open a ticket.

Browser cookies or cache cause odd behavior

Section titled “Browser cookies or cache cause odd behavior”

Why it happens: Old cached files or bad cookies can break the login page.

How to fix it:

  1. Try a private window.
  2. Clear cookies for the site, then log in again.

Why it happens: Two-factor authentication protects the account even if the password leaks.

How to fix it:

  1. See Account security.
  2. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
